The K2's dimensions (50.4" x 25.0" x 18.1") and weight (239 lbs or 108.4 kg) are slightly more compact than the Everest's, making it a more manageable option for some audiophiles. Recommended amplifier power for the K2 ranges from 25 to 600W into a nominal 4-ohm load, with a minimum impedance of 3.27 ohms at 86.8Hz.

Both loudspeakers feature an advanced MultiCap crossover network, which replaces conventional large capacitors with multiple smaller ones.
